VACATION!

This summer Ryan and I took off of school and work and jetted to....

THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!

 (I had to show how high tech planes have gotten these days)

We had a blast! We stayed at the Bahia Principe in La Romana. I have never seen anywhere so clean! It was beautiful too...but I was just so blown away by the cleanliness that it was worth mentioning.

We got dressed up a few times for a lovely meal...

Hung out with some fish while snuba diving...

 (FYI Snuba is a half snorkel, half scuba adventure)

Plus we did some regular snorkeling where Ryan showed me that he is descendant from a Mermaid...

 THEN we put our James Bond training to good use and tore up the waves in a 2 person speed boat!

Oh then there was the one day we decided to go 4 wheeling through the sugar cane fields and I ended up looking like this...

Even though we got a little dirty...actually probably the dirtiest I've EVER been...it was a cool adventure. 

Of course we got some good beach time in as well and had our fair share of fruity drinks 

(a.k.a. liquid courage to help us karaoke)...but isn't that what vacation is all about?!

And best of all we made some great memories! Cheesy. But true. 

I love you Dominican Republic.
