Workin' On My Fitness

Well my friends, pie season is upon us so to the gym we go! Not a member of a gym? No worries! These moves you can do at home to maintain your girlish figure (because, who am I kidding...I couldn't lose weight during the holidays if you paid me...Christmas cookies > salad).
Start warming up with running up and down a flight of stairs. 
10 flights at least (flight = up once, down once)
 Next, it's time for a plank! Hold for 90 seconds. 5 times. If you don't have a bosu ball, no worries! Just do it on the ground! Try to get your butt lower than mine though...oops. 
Then its time for some abs. Sit in a V and bring your arms slowly from the left to the right. Do this 30 times at least twice. 
Continue to sit in a V, hold your arms straight out and do a slow flutter with them. 
Do another 30 times at least twice. 

Add in some jumping lunges and you've gotten a good 30 minute strength work out. I do strength training with my trainer twice a week...I have to have a trainer because I lack motivation and need someone to MAKE me work out. 
When I am on my own I try to get my cardio in by doing intervals on the treadmill...hate it...
Getting in shape is a never ending battle but I sure as heck will keep trying!
