Deck the Halls

This post is a little backwards but my friends and I threw a Christmas Party this weekend and I had to show off the cute craft we did to decorate! It was so easy!

We also did a white elephant gift exchange (which was hilarious), had tons of yummy treats, then when out for a night on the town.

Her is how we made our tissue tassel garland...

1) Choose your tissue paper colors and fold a few sheets hot dog style. Start cutting towards the fold but leave 2 inches from the fold (so that when you open it, both sides are attached).

2) Then open the fold and roll the tassel slowly, stopping occasionally to make sure not to crinkle the paper.

3) Then fold in half and twist.
4) Tie some string or twine around the top, leaving room for a loop to put the twine you are hanging it with through...

5) Then string them all together and you have a beautiful, handmade decoration!
I used 4 pieces of each color for this space.

Now...How to Party:

Macaroons, duh.
(from local bakery BUT GUESS WHAT?! They ship! Check Tart Sweets out, so cute!)

Holiday beverage with festive drink ware...these adorable glasses are from the Dollar Tree!

Garland is a great way to dress up any space!

And of course, great friends! #sentimental
